LANSING, Mich. – Citing Michigan’s attractive business climate, logistical assets, and R&D talent base, Silicon Valley-based KLA-Tencor Corporation (NASDAQ: KLAC) today announced its plans to establish a new research-and-development center in Ann Arbor. The development is expected to generate a total capital investment of more than $70 million and create 500 high-tech jobs over the next five years.

$27,675 goal to win matching grant through MEDC’s Public Spaces Community Places initiative

LANSING, Mich. – Kids’ Place Park in downtown Bangor will soon be home to a new inclusive play space through a crowdfunding campaign, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and city of Bangor announced today. The campaign is being offered through Michigan-based crowdfunding platform Patronicity.
