Chris Holman spoke Kurt Kissling, Of Counsel, Pepper Hamilton, LLP Southfield, MI, a Environment and Energy Practice Group about an upcoming event being hosted by Michigan Manufacturers Association.

Kurt shared with Chris about the scope of services for Pepper Hamilton LLP, and then went into the April 13th event.Every business faces difficult regulatory and compliance issues. From air to energy and everything in-between, many manufacturing leaders wear too many hats to be able to follow every change and with a new administration in Washington, countless changes could be on the horizon.

For the 8th year, the Michigan Manufacturers Association is partnering with the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan to host a half-day program updating all interested manufacturers, advocacy groups and legal experts on the most urgent environmental issue facing Michigan.

Clearing the Air in 2017 will be hosted at MMA Headquarters in Lansing on Thursday, 4/13/17.

The event features Lynn Fiedler, director of the Air Quality Division of the DEQ, DEQ AQD representatives, the Michigan Environmental Council, the Environmental Law & Policy Center, Michigan Public Service Commission, Michigan Municipal Electric Association, the Edison Electric Institute, local manufacturers and leading law firms focusing on environmental issues.

If you’re a manufacturer with questions — whether you know the questions to ask or not — this is a half-day event that you must attend to feel confident in where environmental regulations are heading in 2017.

RSVP: Sarah Martin, MMA Event Coordinator, 517-487-8521 or martin@mimfg.org
