IMG_5809 (2)Leading up to Christmas, Santa was at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI, this recent Friday to visit their youngest and smallest Patients, in Sparrow's Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. It made for some touching moments.

Here are some excerpts with Sparrow officials and Santa discussing his visit, click play on the PodCast below.

The smallest Patients at Sparrow got a visit from St. Nick himself when Santa Claus spread holiday cheer at the Sparrow Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Santa visit the prematurely born infants in their incubators and welcomed any parents.

It was an occasion with several touching moments. The holidays can be a difficult time for any parent (or sibling) with a baby in the RNICU, so Santa also posed for photos with their brothers and sisters and listen to their holiday wishes. The nationally recognized Sparrow RNICU provides care for some 600 acutely ill infants a year from throughout Mid-Michigan, offering around-the-clock supervision of premature newborns and sick full-term babies.
