Economic DevelopmentTrevor Pawl, Managing Director, Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC), spends some time with Chris Holman. PMBC under the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, (MEDC) is all over Michigan playing the role of connector.

Here they discuss the SBAM Summit where PMBC joins up with the Small Business Association of Michigan, and twenty plus purchasers at Livonia, Michigan's Burton Manor, looking to connect over 300 company needs in Michigan. The deadline to apply to participate is coming up quickly (August 9th). Not only will 600-1000 companies be put in touch with opportunities, but the supplier to supplier networking is a very valuable experience. Trevor shares that PMBC is setting up a Boeing event in Seattle for October, and a project with India is also in the offing. He alludes to tremendous summits that are being created for next March and April.

Michigan Business Beat, hosted by Chris Holman, discusses economic development, new or unusual entrepreneurial initiatives, and successful business practices from different regions and industries around Michigan with a wide range of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
