The MBN team had the opportunity to attend the 2017 Detroit Policy Conference hosted by the Detroit Regional Camber and held at the Motor City Casino and Hotel. Keynote speaker Chris Ilitch encouraged the people of Detroit to continue to work together. With buildings and stadiums springing up, the vision of downtown Detroit has been brought to life with a project called The District Detroit.

The District Detroit is a entertainment district comprised of six world-class theaters, five neighborhoods and three professional sports venues. As part of Detroit's revitalization, the economic impact is expected to deliver a $2.1 billion incresase for our cities, region, and state. The project is only part of a record amount of new developments happening in Detroit.
