JOEY SANTOS- Celebrity Chef Santos, is welcomed for the first time to Show Biz Weekly with news on his life as the child of veteran stage, film and television actor Joe Santos. Joe Santos, is most well known in television history as the side kick Lt. Becker, but his work was vast and lasted for 50 years, including his last project “Chronic”, released in 2015. Joe Santos passed away in March of 2016. His son, Joey Santos was shocked and felt “snubbed” by The Emmy Awards leaving out his father during their memorial segment on this years broadcast.

Santos describes the destruction of Hollywood in a way he suggests is the “shutting down of Hollywood”. The fast paced millennial lifestyles of “reality TV” instant stardom have displaced the legends like his father who knocked down the doors and created paths for others to follow. This years Emmy’s also forgot to mention character actors: Beth Howland of TV’s “Alice”, and Pat Harrington of TV’s “One Day At A Time”.

They continue on this story of the incredible life of growing up with an actor father rehearsing at home while his young boys watched in astonishment of what he was doing. Their mother let them know that this is what their father did for a living. Santos points to the direction of Hollywood and how it’s changing and perhaps ending… Or at least it’s changing and not to liking of old guards and the families who want to them remembered and not tossed aside while “newbies” show up and get their, Warhol gave everyone 15, but by now it is about  “5” minutes of fame.  What do we do? Santos suggests to “take back Hollywood”…
