'Around the State' has provided a look at businesses and issues all around Michigan the past few years. Several organizations have contirbuted content to this program. 2013-'15 Andy Hayes of NLEA, the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance hosted this show.

In these two segments, Chris Holman and the Michigan Business Network welcome a new team and present the inaugural episode of SBDC's 'Around the State'. Around the State, hosted by SBDC's State Director Keith Brophy, and Associate State Director Jennifer Deamud. They provide counseling, training and research to assist small business to launch, grow, transition and innovate. Segment one is Chris's welcome, segment two, Keith and Jennifer turn the tables and get a glimpse into Chris's career over the decades and his perspectives on small business development.

Keith and Jennifer will host segments from time to time, however most of the show's content will be coming from contributors at the many chapters of SBDC across Michigan. They will be catching interviews with organizations and businesses which are impacting the small business development for Michigan.
