regional businessSue speaks with Nicole Young of Marquette County CVB, they discuss all the wonderful events and exciting things to do in the Beautiful Upper Peninsula.

Given its proximity to Lake Superior, snow in some capacity is a given in Marquette County and that is why we do winter. Fresh snow means the opportunity to make tracks, whether it is on skis, snowshoes, a snowmobile, a fat bike or even a dog sled. Here residents and visitors alike don’t hibernate when the flakes fly, they get moving.

Travel Marquette believes that we were meant to be outdoors, to feel the pull of gravity and the kiss of wind on our face. Winter in Marquette, Michigan means lake effect snow, Nordic and alpine skiing, tubing, skating, snow biking, snowmobiling and experiencing winter events. Winter is here.

Journey north, go outside and live like it will all melt tomorrow!

What’s your human nature? Whatever it is, you’ll find it in Marquette County, Michigan.

Party @ MI Place, hosted by MFEA, reviews festivals and events from around Michigan, looks ahead to upcoming events, and highlights people in the festivals and events industry who are making a difference in Michigan’s economy.
