Economic DevelopmentFrom the MEDA (Michigan Economic Developers Association) Annual Meeting on Thursday, August 20, Chris caught up with fellow Michigan Business Network broadcaster, Bob Trezise, President/CEO of LEAP (Lansing Economic Area Partnership), and Committee Chair of MEDA.

Bob speaks on the impact that economic development has on communities and the families that are assisted because of new development. They discuss the importance of educating legislators, so they understand the importance and impact of economic development, so incentives can be developed. This will help Michigan compete for business to help grow communities.

Michigan Business Beat, hosted by Chris Holman, discusses economic development, new or unusual entrepreneurial initiatives, and successful business practices from different regions and industries around Michigan with a wide range of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
