Delta Dental Partnering with Forgotten Harvest

In this two part interview Jeffrey speaks with Lisa Ermak, Media and Public Relations Coordinator of Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana along with Kirk Mayes, CEO for Forgotten Harvest with main operation and warehouse in Oak Park and its farm in Fenton, MI. We find out why Delta Dental is investing in Forgotten Harvest along with how this partnership fits with Forgotten Harvest’s mission and vision. Kirk goes on to share how even with an improving economy, whether the problem of food insecurity has diminished. From there he goes into what the Healthy Kids-Healthy Food program is and how it will benefit metro Detroit children and families. Lisa then shares how Delta Dental is increasing the number of children who see a dentist in metro Detroit through this program, wrapping up the conversation describing how Delta Dental's' employees are helping with this partnership.
