Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana has pledged $75,000 to the American Red Cross to provide disaster relief services in communities affected by Hurricane Harvey.
“We are proud to support the efforts of the American Red Cross to aid those who have been displaced by Hurricane Harvey, and we commend everyone who is working to make sure that people get the help they need,” said Laura Czelada, President and CEO of Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. “We hope our donation provides some immediate relief for people as they seek safe shelter, food and clean water.”
Hurricane Harvey, which is one of the most devastating hurricanes to strike the U.S. in more than 10 years, has left thousands of individuals in Houston and along the Gulf Coast homeless and without basic necessities.
“We are overwhelmed by this generous gift from Delta Dental and their continued support of the American Red Cross over the past several years,” said Greg Waite, Division Director of the American Red Cross. “Together we both serve Michigan, Indiana and Ohio and are partnering to ensure those impacted by crisis in Texas receive the shelter, food, clothing and emotional care they need to recover from these devastating floods.”
