Big Things On The Horizon for the Mackinac Policy Conference 2016

Looking ahead to a big Michigan business event Chris spends some time with Tammy Carnrike, COO, Detroit RegionalChamber, Detroit, MI. They preview the May 31 to June 3, Mackinac Policy Conference 2016 up at Mackinac Island.

The agenda is complete and they continue to stay focused on driving Michigan’s economy. The conference has three pillars: entrepreneurship, urban education, Investing in our future. Detroit Public Schools and the Flint issue will be among other topics covered on the island. This event is a place that business and government officials come together, not only city, but state and federal officials. Tammy then takes a run through some of the speakers who will be on stage during the conference.

 

Michigan Business Beat, hosted by Chris Holman, discusses economic development, new or unusual entrepreneurial initiatives, and successful business practices from different regions and industries around Michigan with a wide range of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
