ALEX SAYHI - From Hollywood, Sayhi shares what he’s been up to since relocating to California from Paris, France. The Nice, France born Sayhi, began modeling in France and then found himself in New York where he worked for many designers and was featured in numerous commercials and print campaigns for MACY’S.
Model/Actor Sayhi shares that he began as a gymnast and learned Parkour. Parkour is an activity that can be practiced alone or with others and is usually—but not exclusively—carried out in urban spaces. Parkour involves seeing one's environment in a new way, and imagining the potential for navigating it by movement around, across, through, over and under its features. Parkour was developed in France, primarily by Raymond Belle, and further by his son David Belle and his group of friends, the self-styled Yamakasi, during the late 1980s
Sayhi concludes with his move to LA to begin acting work, and continues to model. He also announced (off air) that he’s just got engaged to his long time girlfriend, also a model. Sayhi’s career took off because he walked into agencies to get signed on the “open call” days and was turned down several times until one said yes, and the rest is his history still in the making.
