Author Bethany Bradsher stunningly captures the unique traditions, championship achievements, and ‘magical moments’ seen throughout the years. The book titled: VICTORY FOR MSU: A 120-Year History of Spartan Men’s Basketball is a 340 page full-color work of excellence.  Debuting this November, this commemorative hardcover edition features a 3-D basketball grain textured cover, and silver gilded pages.

MSU VICTORY.jpgFormer MSU basketball legend Gregory Kelser wrote the foreword to the book, in which he sets the perfect tone of historical remembrance, and modern day reverence of the MSU Basketball program. The contents of the book are uniquely divided into 17 chapters, starting with the birth of the MSU Basketball program in 1898.  The chapters highlight the program’s best players (Magic Johnson and Mateen Cleaves) coaches (Jud Heathcote and Tom Izzo), and moments (Two National Championships).  VICTORY FOR MSU is a once in a generation book, which offers an unparalleled look at one of college basketball’s most historic programs.

“We are very excited about this project,” explains Greg Sizelove. Publishing Director at Ruckus Books.   “Michigan State is truly one of the storied programs in college basketball and we are proud to share that story with Spartan fans and fans of college basketball.”
