Our Start Studio Discovery program is BACK! Applications for the Spring 2024 cohort open tomorrow, Feb. 16! Start Studio Discovery is TechTown's most accessible program for entrepreneurs with tech ideas.

During this 10-week program, cohort participants will identify, articulate and validate a problem; conduct customer discovery interviews; and identify a unique value proposition, all with the help of our expert entrepreneurs-in-residence.

ICYMI: VentureWell and TechTown's Ascend program receives a $500,000 grant

VentureWell, one of TechTown's ecosystem partners, received a $500,000 grant last year from the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Technology Transitions for creating programming and support for energy startup teams and entrepreneurs.

The program is the Ascend Energy & Mobility Accelerator, which trained its inaugural cohort of 10 Michigan-affiliated startup teams during last summer and fall. Offered in partnership with TechTown, the six-week program supports entrepreneurs who are working on solutions to energy and mobility problems. VentureWell and TechTown are gearing up to open applications for the next Ascend cohort this summer.
