Sparrow Memory Care and Aging Series Kicks Off, Interview with Psychologist Michael Shafer, Ph.D.

Dementia, an issue that touches nearly every family, is focus of Sparrow series kick-off.

For the next six weeks, Sparrow is holding a free Memory Care and Aging Series that will examine practical topics, such as how to identify dementia in a loved one, the latest in Alzheimer’s research, and memory supplements and medications. Their Senior Health Series proved very popular last year and they have a capacity crowd for their first event this year, Signs of Dementia: What to Look for and How to Help. The event featured Psychologist Michael Shafer, Ph.D., Jeffrey Mosher interviews Dr. Shafer then we share excerpts from the presentation held August 16th at East Lansing's Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center, Lincoln Room, MSU.
