Idea Pitch CompetitionFLINT, Mich, June 18, 2020 – 100K Ideas, in partnership with the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce, has re-launched the Pitch For $K - Idea Pitch Competition series in Flint.
A virtual Pitch For $K competition is planned for Aug. 6 with the opportunity to win up to $6,000.
Pitch For $K is designed to foster the entrepreneur mindset in our community along with creating an inclusive support system to assist individuals in moving their idea, product or business forward. 100K Ideas aspires to create a platform for innovators in Genesee County to refine their product, service or business while acquiring startup capital, building their networks and raising visibility of the talent that comes from our community.
Applications are currently being accepted for the Aug. 6 competition. Interested individuals can submit their applications on the Pitch For $K website, thepitch4k.com. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 19. As in the previous competitions, seven individuals will be selected to present their pitch to three judges and a live audience. The August competition will be the first of three events, with this first competition being held virtually. During the competition, the judges will select who receives each prize level, with first place being $5,000. In addition to the standard prize levels, the audience will vote to determine who will receive the People’s Choice prize of $1,000.
