Chris Holman welcomes back Tony Vernaci, President, AIAM Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan, Rochester, MI. Watch Tony and Chris discuss the upcoming AIAM AeroOne Conference in the YouTube video shared below:

Tony, please remind the Michigan Business community about AIAM.

In the past few weeks, you announced the expansion of your big event. Tell us about September's AeroOne event.

What will expanding it from two to three days allow you to accomplish

Who are some of your early supporters, sponsors, and expected attendees?

Here are more details;

The Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan (AIAM) announced the second annual AeroOne Conference on Sept. 5–7, 2023 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center, in downtown Detroit. Following a very successful kickoff in 2022, this year’s event will offer even more attendees, a new location, trending topics, more exhibits, additional time for networking, and a new pre-conference welcoming event. AeroOne aims to build a strong foundation for Michigan’s aerospace industry by bringing together primes such as Boeing, Airbus, multiple tier ones, and industry leaders from across the nation.

The 2023 AeroOne Conference — a summit of aerospace OEMs, suppliers, and thought leaders Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center - VIP Nightlife— will kick off on Sept. 5 with a High Altitude Welcome Reception, atop the 72nd floor at the Highlands Restaurant. The venue is 700 feet up and offers a full 360-degree view overlooking the U.S./Canada border. Sept. 6 and 7 will feature expanded showcase exhibits, networking, speakers and panelists from a variety of related sectors, and opportunities to connect with primes and OEMs. Early registration is encouraged.

“We used a successful conference format and feedback from last year’s attendees to expand and grow the 2023 event,” said AIAM President, Tony Vernaci. “This year attendees will experience more networking time, a larger venue, and expert presenters who will focus on critical topics. We’re on our way to becoming one of the nation’s most distinguished aerospace conferences.”

The 2023 AeroOne conference will again feature 30+ speakers from the world’s top aerospace manufacturers and leading tier-one companies. AIAM expects to draw more than 400 attendees representing 200 companies, traveling from dozens of states and multiple countries again this year.

In addition to networking, showcase display tables will provide companies with an outstanding platform to meet face-to-face with key figures in the global aerospace industry. AIAM anticipates this conference to book up fast. Vernaci encourages companies to respond as quickly as possible for booth spaces and sponsorship packages to maximize visibility.

Sponsorship packages for the conference are available now. Due to high interest, sponsorships will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. General Sponsorship begins at $2,000 and tops out with limited Gold ($15K) and Platinum ($25K) sponsorships. Top-level sponsors receive exclusive branding opportunities and exhibit table placement, verbal recognition, complimentary passes, an opportunity to play a company-provided video, strategic logo placement, and much more.

“Michigan is one of the top places in the country for aerospace with nearly 1,000 companies serving the industry from our state,” noted Matt Eurich, COO of Genuen and AIAM Chairman. “We have proven advanced manufacturing capabilities, outstanding STEM education institutions, and a strong business environment. The excitement surrounding AeroOne is evidence that Michigan aerospace is thriving, with even more opportunity ahead.”
