Greetings from Iron Fish Distillery,
The Iron Fish team is staying healthy and helping the front line healthcare workers throughout Michigan by producing sanitizer in an effort to keep our hospitals and facilities as safe as possible for workers and patients. Check out the pictures at the bottom too.
Now included is an interview Chris Holman did while catching up with Co-Owner Sarah Anderson.
Hear Sarah and Chris discuss the latest from Iron Fish Distillery and the pivot to sanitizer, click play on the PodCast.
Co-founders Richard and Sarah Anderson, David and Heidi Wallace are working around the clock in the distillery to make the sanitizer just as long as it is needed to keep our families and friends healthy working on the front line. The team is proud to be able to help in this time of need.
And, adding some fun into this social distancing and stay at home time, the Iron Fish team is hosting virtual cocktail parties and offering up video recipes live from the tasting room. Just check out their Facebook page for event details and join in.
ABOUT IRON FISH DISTILLERY
Iron Fish Distillery is Michigan’s first working farm, growing and sourcing local grain to distill a full line of small-batch craft spirits on a reclaimed 1890’s farmstead. Iron Fish does this from the ground up with practices that respect the health of nearby watersheds. Inspired by the Steelhead Trout that journey each year to their origin in the nearby Betsie River, Iron Fish is returning spirit to its origin using heritage methods of distilling on an environmentally third party verified farm growing non GMO grain. Every step of the process is done by hand at the distillery.
To date, Iron Fish has won over 10 international and national awards for their spirits, and started distributing their products through Imperial Beverage to over 800 Michigan locations and in Illinois through Big Fish Spirits, a retailer delivering craft spirits to home and offices with their mobile app.
