In their conversation, Jeffrey looked to find out several things from Carrie; as the theme of this month, Carrie discusses CAMW!’s roundtable-style discussion podcast titled 'Women in Workforce'.

Question: Tell me more about CAMW!’s roundtable-style discussion podcast, 'Women In Workforce'?

The Women in Workforce series shines a spotlight on the workforce impacts of the capital area’s women in positions of leadership, while also addressing and discussing the disparities and challenges unique to women in the workforce.

Hosted by Carrie Rosingana, CEO of CAMW! and Kate Snyder, CEO & Founder of Piper & Gold Public Relations.

10 episodes, each released on Thursdays at noon.

Two to three female leaders from a variety of industries join the co-hosts each episode.

Each episode, leaders share their experiences and insights on what it takes to succeed in today's workforce.

The series aims to encourage women to pursue leadership roles and to provide a space for them to share their experiences and insights, as well as for listeners to learn, access resources available to them and be able to grow in their careers.

Question: What are some of the topics of the episodes we can look forward to?

Each episode will center around the guests, sharing how their work is connected to the region’s workforce.

The goal of the series is to educate listeners and viewers on the ways workforce development is woven throughout our community and what we can do to make the workforce more inclusive and equitable.

Previous discussion topics include:

Overcoming gender biases in the workplace and hiring processes.

Building a successful career in an industry with few women.

The importance of and opportunities for mentorship, representation and sponsorship.

Promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

The future of women in the workforce.

The impact of women on the economy.

Breaking down barriers to success.

Co-hosts are currently in the planning stages of season 2.

Plan to reach out to guests who have expressed interest in joining who weren’t able to participate in season 1.
