In our interview, we discuss what he’s learned from his hands-on interactions with businesses during his three years working at the MSU International Business Center helping businesses grow by providing international market research. He says he’s discovered that even successful businesspersons don’t have all of the answers—the marketplace is fluid and it’s important to move forward with all of the resources available at any given time. Upon graduation this spring, he’s saddened to leave campus (especially without the normal end-of-year activities and graduation ceremony, due to the Covid-19 pandemic) but is excited to begin a position as a Management Trainee with Sherwin-Williams, which he expects will take him to Latin America to further his international business and Spanish skills. Eventually, he plans to work for himself—full-time!
