Cinnaire | LIHTC 301 Session from Building MI Communities Conference

MBN visited Day 3 of 21st Annual Building Michigan Communities Conference at the Lansing Center, May 1, 2019. Ben Stehouwer, Vice President, Underwriting, Cinnaire delivered the 11 o'clock session.

LIHTC 301 took an advanced look at the field of affordable housing and incite discussion around the ever changing market. This session will cover 704(b) issues, eligible basis issues, minimum gain, maximizing first year credits, year 15 and early exits, and the changes in Michigan's QAP regarding incoming averaging.

Over the three days Cinnaire’s team of leaders in the community development and affordable housing industries were featured in sessions and on panels with their partners throughout the conference.

Ben Stehouwer joined Cinnaire in 2011 and is Vice President of Underwriting in our Grand Rapids office. Prior to joining Cinnaire,

Ben worked at the Inner City Christian Federation (ICCF), a nonprofit real estate developer for nearly eight years. In his time there he worked in several areas of real estate development, with his most recent position administering their real estate development finance operations.
