Boulevard’s Fran Westbrooks Recognized at Ajamu Group’s 12 Annual Multicultural Media Luncheon

Detroit creative recognized for his excellence in multicultural marketing, community engagement

DETROIT, Mich., Sept. 21, 2023Boulevard Advertising Founder, President, and Managing Partner Fran Westbrooks will receive the Multicultural Marketing Award yesterday at Ajamu Group’s 12th Annual Multicultural Media Luncheon Awards during the North American International Auto Show. Born and raised in Detroit, Westbrooks has deep community roots and is known for his strategic and creative thinking and his commitment to leading cultural narratives.

With more than 15 years of agency experience, Westrbrooks has worked in Detroit and New York, overseeing the success of global companies like Chrysler, Chevy, Ford, Lincoln, HAP, Wal-Mart, Corona, Miller, Verizon, Subway. and Bermuda Tourism. Westbrooks has led his team to receive numerous accolades, including the American Advertising Award for the DTE Foundation’s “Rona4Real” public awareness campaign and Marketing Automotive Awards for Best Multicultural Campaign for Jeep’s “Where I’m From” media campaign for the Grand Wagoneer.

Beyond his impressive agency career, Westbrooks founded Detroit Comeback Kids, an organization that fosters connections among Detroit citizens through innovative solutions across Metro Detroit. He has served on a number of boards and committees, including AD COLOR, Black United Fund (BUF), Xavier University, The DIA Gala, and his recent appointment to the Adcraft Detroit board.
