A Bottom Line I.T. Extra. The Webinar presented by JustASK Tuesday October 20th, 2020, with Kevin Meeker

The digital world is a spooky place. Cybercriminals are lurking in every corner just waiting for the opportune time to make their move. This is part 2 of this webinar series that began Tuesday, October 20th.

Want to hear another round of scary cyber security stories? Buckle up as JustASK have more to share in part 2 of their Cyber Security Horror Stories webinar series. If you missed ASK's webinar on Cybersecurity Horror Stories Part 2; you can catch the recap below:

In this two-part series, Kevin is joined by the head of their Enhanced Security Services Team, Josh Gembala to reveal some horrific (real-life) stories of cybersecurity incidents. That’s right, these aren’t made up, “what if” scenarios. These are real security incidents he has seen in real life. You’ll hear about the cascading effects the incidents had on the people and businesses targeted, so you can learn the true impact it has on a business.

And just like any good Dateline episode, we will be changing the real names of those affected for their own protection.

Josh also shares some best practices that, had they been followed, would have prevented these incidents from ever happening in the first place. This is the perfect time to learn from someone else’s mistake.

In the meantime, you can find more helpful webinars and other great tools inside our COVID-19 resource center.
