The MBN Speaker Series 2024 Spring Business Sports Luncheon took place on April 23rd at the Capital Regional International Airport in their recently renovated Friendship Hall conference room. The gathering ran from 11 am to 1:30 pm, as an opportunity for area business leaders to network, share news, and hear from the day's featured speaker.

resize (1)Kicking off the 21st year of Business Sports Luncheons, MBN invited Robyn Fralick, MSU Woman's Basketball Head Coach to speak with the gathering.  

Okemos native, Robyn Fralick (left), is the Head Basketball Coach for Michigan State University's Women's Basketball team. Prior to joining Michigan State, Fralick served as the Head Coach for the Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Women's Basketball team from 2018 to 2021. During her tenure at BGSU, Fralick led the team to remarkable success, including a Mid-American Conference (MAC) regular-season championship in the 2019-2020 season. Before her head coaching role at BGSU, Fralick gained valuable coaching experience as an assistant coach at several prestigious programs, including Ashland University and Davidson College.
 
Fralick is known for her expertise in player development, strategic coaching, and fostering a culture of excellence within her teams. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Davidson College and a Master's degree from Ashland University. As the head coach of Michigan State University's Women's Basketball team, Fralick is dedicated to continuing her track record of success and guiding her players to achieve both on and off the court. She has led the MSU ladies to a 22-9 record, fourth in the Big Ten, and got to the NCAA Tournament as a 9th seed team again North Carolina.
