What does an economy with low employment, high customer satisfaction, and lots of job switching mean for the future?

Michigan Business Network
October 12, 2018 11:00 AM

Morgeson_ForrestHosted by Tomas Hult, this segment of the globalEDGE Business Beat is a dialogue with Forrest Morgeson, Director of Research for the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). Tomas Hult is Professor and Byington Endowed Chair in the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) is the only national cross-industry measure of customer satisfaction in the United States. ACSI measures the satisfaction of U.S. household consumers with the quality of products and services offered by both foreign and domestic firms with significant share in U.S. markets. Forrest and Tomas dig a bit deeper than their recent op-ed in The Hill on “US heading toward an economy with unsatisfied customers — and voters” that was published on September 18, 2018, to better understand the data and implications for the US economy and coming elections.
