ViziRecruiter’s branded, visual job descriptions allow candidates to “experience” organizations

DETROIT, MICHIGAN, April 29, 2021 - The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has shifted the way the majority of businesses operate, which includes talent recruitment and hiring efforts. As most organizations became fully remote, the valuable experience of in-person interviews no longer became an option for hiring managers. Candidates were no longer able to see or walk through their potential workspace, meet their coworkers, or get a feel of what it could be like to work for a company.

ViziRecruiter, an HR tech company that transforms text-based job descriptions into visual, branded job posts, has bridged this gap for many organizations as they enter this new hiring frontier.

Traditional, text-based job descriptions are often the first touchpoint for many job seekers. While they inform the job seeker of the basic skills and requirements for a position, they are ill-equipped to effectively communicate an organization’s people, culture, mission, and purpose. It’s for these very reasons that Joe O’Connor founded ViziRecruiter in 2012.

“Today’s world is powered by visuals, which are scientifically proven to be more effective at communicating and sparking emotion compared to text,” says O’Connor. “The job description as we know it is antiquated, and simply doesn’t work for today’s marketplace.”

Many of ViziRecruiter’s current and new customers have found that the visual nature of the product has allowed potential candidates to experience the brand, even though they have never stepped foot into an office.

By incorporating real photos of the office space, employees and even including videos of office tours, job seekers are better informed and can connect emotionally, which was previously ingrained with the in-person nature of interviews. Additionally, customers have been able to customize job descriptions to include health and safety protocol, diversity and inclusion messaging, and other timely information that job descriptions are often unable to provide.
