It’s LSCP Annual Dinner Week: Virtual Silent Auction Open Now!

The Lake Superior Community Partnership's Annual Dinner is this week! This event is our largest fundraiser of the year. We anticipate a few hundred people at this fun-filled event on Thursday, May 5, at the Northern Center Ballrooms. Each year we come together to support economic development in Marquette County, celebrate our successes, and recognize our Distinguished Service Award winners. The event includes a buffet dinner, bucket drawings, a silent auction, and a short program. New in 2022, our silent auction is LIVE for the entire week leading up to the event and doesn't close until just before midnight on the night of the Annual Dinner. Attendees will be able to do all of their biddings online ahead of time, throughout the event, and after. Thank you to all of the businesses who have donated to our silent auction and raffle!

We want to thank our many event sponsors; Enbridge, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Cleveland Cliffs, Inc., Eagle Mine, Northern Michigan University, Oaklea Simpson Security (OSS), WLUC TV6, 44North, Vast, Carpet Specialists, Upper Peninsula Power Company, Eco Smart Home Pros, Envirologic: Environmental Consulting & Services, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Iron Range Agency, Landmark Inn, Lasco, Small Business Association of Michigan, and Sawyer International Airport for their generous donations to this year's Annual Dinner. It's individuals and businesses like yours that keep the LSCP moving forward. We can't thank you enough!

This year's individual Distinguished Service Award (DSA) winner is Jesse Bell. Jesse is the President and CEO of Bell Financial. Jesse has been an incredible asset to many organizations throughout Marquette County. To name a few, his community involvement includes serving on the West End Planning Committee, the Ishpeming Downtown Development Authority, and the Ishpeming Main Street Committee. He has also served on the board of Grow & Lead Child & Youth Development, the Upper Peninsula Hospice Foundation, the NMU Foundation, and the Kitchi-Mi-Kana Bicycle Club. In addition, he has been a Marquette County Ambassador and LSCP board member for the past 20 years. His commitment to these initiatives has helped shape the future of Marquette County.

This year's business Distinguished Service Award recipient is Superior Extrusion, Inc. With all of the expansions they have done over the years and its commitment to the area – Superior Extrusion, Inc. has stood out as an economic driver for our community.

This year's Annual Dinner will be fun for all and another excellent opportunity for LSCP partners to advertise their business, network with one another, and enjoy an evening out. But, most importantly, this event is an opportunity for you to contribute to the economic development activities of the Lake Superior Community Partnership.

Tickets can be reserved by registering on our website or calling our office by Tuesday, May 3. For more information on attending or sponsoring, don't hesitate to contact Ashley Szczepanski, Director of Marketing, at ashley@marquette.org.
