Tri-County Alliance: Governor’s Veto Prioritizes Schools

LANSING – The Tri-County Alliance for Public education Wednesday released the following statement from Executive Director Robert McCann in response to Governor Whitmer vetoing HB 5761 and HB 5810.

“Michigan's K-12 schools are already facing a budget crisis and these bills would have only made that worse.  We appreciate Governor Whitmer prioritizing our schools and our students through her vetoes today.”
