LAFCU’s Ellsworth Etchison Receives Chamber’s Community Service Award

LANSING, Mich. — Kelli Ellsworth Etchison has received the Community Service Award from the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is LAFCU’s chief marketing officer.

The award was one of four presented before more than 650 people at the chamber’s annual dinner Feb. 27. It was the only award presented to an individual versus a business.

“For more than 70 years, the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce has recognized the outstanding work of community leaders,” said Tim Daman, LRCC president and CEO. “Kelli embodies all the key characteristics and criteria of the Community Service Award. Her community involvement and support of numerous organizations speaks to her extraordinary dedication and commitment to our region’s well-being.”

LANSING, Mich. — LAFCU has won five marketing awards in the 17th Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards competition, with two entries winning the top awards in their categories.

The recognition is for advertising materials promoting LAFCU’s jumbo CD and vertically designed credit cards, and for a public relations campaign promoting financial resources for striking UAW members and others negatively impacted by the 2019 GM strike, such as those laid off by auto suppliers.
