2016_03_18_MBB_3-17_S1_Lansing_Sanitary_Supply.pngChris Holman talks with Joe Ellis, Vice President of Lansing Sanitary Supply. They discuss the history of the company, beginning in 1975 and how his father started the company in his basement and garage.

The company continued to grow, moved several times, and is now located on South Washington Avenue since 1992. They have a branch of the company in Kalamazoo, called Indusco Supply, and have a reach from the east shore to the west shore in Michigan, and they go from Clare, Michigan, down northern Indiana and Ohio, as well. Joe touched on the competitiveness of the janitorial supply industry, which keeps them on their toes.

Michigan Business Beat, hosted by Chris Holman, discusses economic development, new or unusual entrepreneurial initiatives, and successful business practices from different regions and industries around Michigan with a wide range of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
