economic-developmentGreat attention is focused on the importance of success in the Detroit Public Schools. Renaissance High School biology teacher Kerry Williams wrestles with large class sizes and a shortage of basic resources for her learning-hungry students. However, recent grants and support from generous companies such as the Bosch Foundation have enabled her to develop amazing projects that bring a new reality to her classroom.  You will enjoy her infectious enthusiasm and references to her remarkable students. Education's Business: Taking Positive Actions, hosted by Karl Klimek, Exposing and celebrating the successful partnerships between K-12 schools and industry/community partners. Special focus is on Science – Technology – Engineering – Math (STEM) and Career Technical Education (CTE) efforts.
