SpringGR graduated 56 entrepreneurs
(GRAND RAPIDS, MI) – SpringGR held a June 24 outdoor graduation event complete with an entrepreneur pitch competition all from the parking lot of Kentwood Community Church. SpringGR recognized 56 aspiring area business owners with a certificate of completion from the Grand Rapids grassroots business training organization that caters to underserved entrepreneurs. With this most recent graduation, SpringGR has had 546 aspiring business owners complete its program.
Also at the event, six graduates won prize money during a pitch competition. The award winners include:
First place: El Globo Restaurant
Second place: 2 Spoons GR
Third place: Sweet T Treats
The Spring Forward Awards are given to entrepreneurs who have developed and grown and will be able to grow their business in a specific way. The winners were: Heron Hudnell, Blessed Wonjah and Aliyah Fisher.
