February is Heart Month and kids are never too young to learn about heart health. Ali Sheikh, D.O., a cardiologist at Sparrow Thoracic and Cardiovascular Institute, addressed dozens of 6th graders at Kinawa Middle School in Okemos Wednesday morning, Feb. 5th, on developing good heart habits and a healthy lifestyle.Dr. Sheikh even had a special handout for them, at the presentation held in the school's gymnasium.
