LANSING, MI – Little Isabella Ann Turpin wasn’t expected for another week but a very quick labor and delivery prompted her to be Sparrow’s New Year’s baby for 2019.
Katelynne and David Turpin of Bath Township welcomed Isabella at 2:19 a.m. on Tuesday. She weighed in at 6 pounds 6 ounces and 18.5 inches tall. Katelynne is originally from Perry and David hails from Haslett.
Isabella wasn’t due until Jan. 6 but mom went into labor at about 8:30 p.m. and had a relatively quick delivery. Isabella joins older sister, Mila, who’s a year and a half.
Isabella was delivered by the Physicians at Alliance Ob-Gyn, with assistance from Resident Physician Olha Krichevskiy, D.O., and Nurses Robin Coles and Shannon Joseph.
