COVID-19 Response & Preparedness Template with Remote Work Policy
New requirements from MiOSHA continue the need for a COVID-19 Response & Preparedness Template, including a policy outlining remote work.
Per the October 14, 2020 MiOSHA rules, "an employer shall create a policy prohibiting in-person work for employees to the extent that their work activities can feasibly be completed remotely."
The SBAM team has reviewed guidance from both MDHHS and MiOSHA rules and created an updated version of the COVID-19 Response & Preparedness Template for your use.
SBAM also recognizes the need for a complete guide to remote work. Our Small Business Owner's Guide to Remote Work offers the sample policy noted above, as well as:
- Remote work communication guide
- Cyber security and IT outsourcing
- Remote work tips for employers
- Investing in your employees’ education
- Employee Assistance Programs
