Stay-at-home order lifted

In a press conference Monday, Governor Whitmer rescinded the Stay Home, Stay Safe Executive Order effective immediately.

    • All work not able to be done remotely can resume in-office.
    • In-home services, such as cleaning, can resume.
    • Retail establishments can reopen without appointments on June 4.
    • Bars and restaurants can reopen on June 8.
    • Gyms are to remain closed, but outdoor fitness classes are permitted to resume.
    • Salons, spas, barbershops and tattoo parlors are to remain closed, as are indoor entertainment facilities such as bowling alleys and movie theaters.
    • Social gatherings have been extended to include outside gatherings up to 100. Indoor groups are limited to 10.

In all instances, there are specific social distancing guidelines outlined. Click here for the full Executive Order.
