Support Michigan businesses of color during Small Business Saturday by joining us for the Michigan SBDC Virtual Marketplace on Facebook Live hosted by Roland Martin: featuring businesses of color across Michigan.

Meet over 40 Michigan small businesses of color to learn about their products and services available to you. The Michigan SBDC has partnered with the SBA and the Michigan Economic Development Center to bring you this special Facebook Live event hosted by Roland Martin to help you celebrate supporting businesses of color this holiday season and beyond.

State of Michigan Weatherization Grant

The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity is providing federal CARES Act funds to help those small businesses hit hardest by COVID-related closures and capacity restrictions expand their capacity.  Funds may be used for a business to construct temporary structures such as canopies and igloos or purchase portable heaters, and more. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis to qualified applicants, with a goal to award a minimum of 10 grants in each of Michigan's prosperity regions.  Learn more here.
