The SBA, in consultation with the U.S. Department of Treasury, released new and revised guidance for the Paycheck Protection Program. This includes:
- Interim Final Rule revising the first IFR to align with the PPP Flexibility Act and a second revision addressing eligibility for those with felonies
- Revised borrower and lender application
Second, the latest Paycheck Protection Program Report shows that as of June 12, approximately 4.6 million PPP loans have been approved nationally and more than $129 billion remains available when accounting for statutory program costs. Great Lakes Region state and total PPP loan data is below, showing more than 686,000 small businesses and non-profits in the six states have been approved for the loans.
