Policies that Allow Michigan’s Economic Recovery to Continue

The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce joined 14 other leading business groups in Michigan in sending a letter to Governor Gretchen Whitmer and
legislative leaders regarding enacting smart COVID-19 policies that allow Michigan’s economic recovery to continue.

The following can be attributed to Tim Daman, president and chief executive officer, Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce:

Tim Daman-1While we must continue to place our highest priority in protecting  health and safety of all our citizens, we must do so in a way that allows all industries to remain open with proper safety protocols in place. We must utilize best practices as they continue to develop over time and be transparent in providing our businesses with clear, consistent decisions made that affect their operations, employees and bottom line. As health experts learn more about the virus we must be more precise in how we control outbreaks and support targeted approaches to controlling those outbreaks.
