PRESS: BWL to Work at I-96/69 and W. Saginaw Hwy. for Power Line Repairs

The Lansing Board of Water & Light will begin work in Delta Township at north and southbound I-96/69 at W. Saginaw Hwy. tonight, Wednesday, December 11. Intermittent closures will last approximately 15 minutes beginning at 11:50pm. The work is being done to repair damaged power lines.

Motorists traveling on I-96/69 will be detoured off the exit ramp for Saginaw Hwy., and rerouted immediately back onto the entrance ramp while work is being performed.

All residents and businesses between I-96/69 and S. Broadbent Rd. will be without power during the duration of the work. Additionally, the traffic light at N. Marketplace Blvd. and W. Saginaw Hwy. will be out. The intersection should be treated as a 4-way stop.

The work is expected to be complete by Thursday, December 12 at 5am.
