michigan works southeast, MRSJACKSON, Mich. – The Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) office in Jackson opened its doors Monday in a new space with Michigan Works! Southeast, offering easier access to wrap-around services for residents with disabilities seeking employment and training opportunities.

The MRS and Michigan Works! Southeast offices are in the Commonwealth Commerce Center, 209 E. Washington Ave., Jackson, MI 49201. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

MRS provides specialized employment and education-related services and training to assist teens and adults with disabilities in becoming employed or retaining employment and works with businesses to find and retain qualified workers with disabilities.

Michigan Works! Association has sixteen agencies across the state who oversee local Michigan Works! Service Centers where job seekers and employers can access services.

“When it comes to economic growth and talent development, we know that partnering with reputable organizations such as MRS is an essential component to success,” said Michigan Works! Southeast Director William Sleight. “We look forward to growing our partnership to further open the doors of opportunity for employers and workers alike.”
