Regional Business Buy NearbyJeffrey was on hand in Traverse City for a Michigan Retailers Association, Buy Nearby event. Bill Golden, Co-Owner of Golden Shoes speaks about how important Buy Nearby is for Traverse City and communities throughout the state. Traverse City Mayor Michael Estes speaks about the success of the campaign and how the campaign benefits Michigan as a whole.

Karen Hilt, owner of My Secret Stash, speaks about her experience being a merchant in the downtown area, how she has pledged to support local businesses, which is a part of her operational policy. Misha Niedorfler, owner of Morsels Espresso and Edibles, and also the Vice President of the downtown Traverse City Association talks about the value that the Traverse City Certificate plays in assisting local businesses. Brad Van Dommelen, President and CEO of Traverse City Tourism, which is a destination marketing organization, with a goal to promote destinations that provide economic activity to the community, also speaks at the Buy Nearby event.
