The 24th annual BWL Chili Cook-off is back on Friday, October 4 from 5:30-9 p.m. at Cooley Law School Stadium, the home of the Lansing Lugnuts and Lansing Ignite.

Guests will sample chili in the outfield from dozens of vendors, including local restaurants, businesses, non-profits, and organizations.

Making a return again this year is the Chili Dog Eating Contest, where participants race to eat as many chili dogs as they can in 4 minutes. There will also be a main stage with live music, a merchandise tent and access to the play area at the stadium for families. To enter the 2019 Chili Dog Eating Contest (sponsored by Olympic Broil), fill out the waiver form and submit to Angela Sees.

Proceeds from the Chili Cook-off will benefit Pennies for Power, Impression 5 Science Center, and the H.O.P.E. Scholarship Program.

Pre-sale ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for kids 12 and under. Day-of ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.

Waterford’s 33rd Annual Harvest Happening is an exciting event for the entire family. Come enjoy the hayrides, pony rides, bouncers, children’s contests and crafts, entertainment for adults and children, crafters, bake sale, food concessions, historical house tours and games, pumpkin patch and more! Lots to eat and plenty to do.

Harvest Happening Children’s Area will feature inflatables, kids’ rides, pony rides, pumpkin patch, make and take crafts, puppet show and more. This event is held by Waterford Twp Parks and Recreation. Ride wristbands, hayrides, pony rides, crafts etc require fees as do refreshments.
