The Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan (AIAM) invites you to attend an informational luncheon on the growing aerospace industry.

Global commercial aircraft orders have reached levels like never seen before.  A recent 20-year forecast from Boeing estimates the need for more than 42,000 aircraft valued at $6.3 trillion USD with approximately 65% of the total coming from the supply chain. This upsurge in demand signals considerable growth opportunities for companies in Michigan.  At the same time, it also requires maximum productivity in order to increase output and speed to market with fewer resources.

Please join AIAM on Wednesday, March 11 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Applied Manufacturing Technologies in Orion Township, MI to learn from their extensive experience on real life systems, with the latest manufacturing technology and engineering solutions to significantly improve production processes.  Experts will discuss ways to utilize collaborative robots to increase efficiencies and quality while reducing costs and integration time.

What You Don’t Know About Collaborative Robot Safety CAN Hurt You.  It is often assumed the “people-friendly” robots are the best and safest choice.  While that may be true the introduction of a collaborative robot with other equipment may, or may not, allow you to fully capitalize on safety features as intended.  During this informational luncheon those in attendance will learn about ways to...

  • Recognize when and how to safely deploy robots in collaborative applications
  • Understand the four ways to deploy robots in collaborative applications

Regardless of the level of automation in your operation today, you cannot afford to miss this event!  It will also be an exceptional networking opportunity as members of the AIAM board of directors will be present to share from their experience and answer questions.  If you currently have customers in the aerospace industry or are considering an expansion into the market this is a chance to meet aerospace executives and learn more about what's taking place in Michigan and around the world.

A limited number of exhibit tables are available.  This is an excellent way to display products, technology solutions and services in a more intimate setting than traditional trades show for quality one-on-one discussions.  The cost to reserve a table is $695.

Interested exhibitors should contact Melody VanderPloeg at: melodyv@aiamnow.com  as soon as possible to confirm availability. Our previous luncheons sell out quickly so don’t delay completing your registration.  Even if you have attended one of our prior luncheons this will present new networking opportunities with fresh perspectives and topics from additional experts in the industry.  Space is limited and advance registration is required.

Non-members welcome!  For more information please click here to secure your seat. A promotional flyer is attached if you would like to share this with others in your company who may be interested.
