MCSB | MEDC Offers Two New Grant Programs for Small Businesses

MCSB logoThe Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) has two new grant programs for small businesses. A brief summary of the grants are below. You can find out more if you (or someone you know) are interested in applying.

Michigan Small Business Survival Grant Program - The State of Michigan has allocated $55 million to implement the Michigan Small Business Survival Grant Program to support the needs of Michigan businesses that have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 virus and the Gatherings and Mask Order. The application to apply will open at 9:00 a.m. EST on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

Michigan Stages Survival Grant Program – The State of Michigan has allocated $3.5 million to create the Michigan Stages Survival Grant Program to provide grants to entertainment venues affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and emergency declarations. The grant application will open on January 21, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. EST.
