LANSING, Mich. -- All DTMB-managed buildings in downtown Lansing are closed today, Feb. 12, 2020, with the exception of the Lottery Building, due to an unexpected problem with steam delivery from the Lansing Board of Water & Light. The steam delivery issue has caused an inability to properly heat the facilities in many downtown Lansing buildings.

3:30 pm update Wednesday, Feb. 12th: Downtown Lansing state offices to reopen on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020
LANSING, Mich. -- The downtown Lansing state office buildings that were closed on Feb. 12, 2020, will be open on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020 for normal operations.
The problem with steam delivery from the Lansing Board of Water & Light that caused the closures on Wednesday morning has been resolved. Steam pressure to all buildings has been restored to appropriate levels and heat in the facilities is being returned to normal. Employees should report to work for their scheduled shifts on Thursday.
