Luann shares the importance of National Disability Employment Awareness month and how this year marks the 75th observance. The Michigan Works! Association does an excellent job of serving individuals with disabilities. Their members and the 16 Michigan Works! organizations across the state, serve over 600,000 job seekers each year. Among those job seekers, there are many individuals with disabilities. Michigan Works! partners with a variety of agencies both statewide and locally to provide training and assistance that helps them move seamlessly to the next level of employment.
