LEAP Accepting Applications for State Allocated Emergency Grant Funds from Small Businesses Across Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties
LANSING, Mich. (Mar. 26, 2020) – Wednesday, the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) successfully secured $600,000 from the MEDC’s Small Business Relief Program to issue 60 $10,000 grants to small businesses across Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties that are suffering financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The grant application for these funds is now open and can be accessed from LEAP’s website at www.purelansing.com/businessrelief. The application will be open until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Businesses are encouraged to take their time completing their application, as completing the application more quickly does not improve chances of receiving a grant.Small businesses wishing to apply for grant funds must be Michigan-based with under 50 employees (full or part time).
