Eric Albright 1Eric Albright, Sergeant First Class Michigan Army National Guard is serving our country and the people of Michigan and takes some time to share his leadership experiences and observations. When leading people, Eric's focus is on purpose, direction and motivation. Serving for over 23 years, his journey started when he was assigned to Iraq as a firefighter and has taken him to his current role as a key leader in recruiting here in Michigan.

As a component of the U.S. Army, the Michigan Army National Guard defends the country when called to action, but what makes for a unique branch in the military is the duty to protect and serve the state of Michigan. That mission allows service members to live and serve within our Michigan communities. From natural disaster relief and civil disturbances to national emergencies, The Michigan Army National Guard is always ready, always there.
